Best Of: Best Horror Movie Site

Are you a fan of the horror genre? looking for website that is only dedicated to this genre? I personally love horror films and have been visiting tons of sites dedicated to one single movie or have mixed genres and don’t know or care much for horror.It didn’t take long to search for a bit and find all these great resources for an avid horror fan, they are loaded with feature from reviews to forums.Here’s my pick for the top horror movie websites:

1) Bloody Disgusting: Bloody Disgusting is the ultimate resource for horror, updated with daily news and exclusive trailers, pictures and interviews that can all be seen BDTV section.The reviews are written by experienced horror fans and although I don’t take anyones review serious, it gives you and insight to a bit about the movie.Apart from all this you have tons of other features like contests, upcoming movie announcements, your own blog, image galleries, newsletters, Zombie Army badge and of course one of the best things about this site, access to their community forum, the biggest, most active and up-to-date horror forum you will find.It has a like modern layout with embedded flash on it, movie stills to draw attention to reviews and upcoming movies with an easy to use navigation menu.

2) Upcoming Horror Movies: Upcoming Horror Movies or UHM is another decent resource to keep in your bookmarks, it concentrates more on announcing upcoming films posting clips, picture galleries, interviews and more.It has movie datebase section ordered by type of film with a section for each individual movie and some news details and trivia about it.You can also hang out their message boards and see whats happening.The layout leaves a bit to hope for with a 3 column very basic design and a huge header image as the navigation menu but hopefully they will redesign the hole thing (although I have my doubts).

3) Best Horror Movies: Best Horror Movies is nothing special but worth to check out from time to time, it’s more of a personal opening spot where the webmaster gives makes lists of best horror movies, writes reviews on watched movies with a bit of an insight to it and a few image stills here and there.Theres a few movies you may have not heard of that you will find on there since he also does a few Indy films and has a horror shop of your interested in that.I think his done a good job at it but should seriously consider updating the sites layout or changing it into a blog platform or content manage system, everything is to messy, it has an outdated menu that reminds me of the old Geocities I use to use to make my first sites, its quite basic though so I don’t think you would have trouble browsing the pages but you might find yourself searching for a movie on a endless list of links ect…
