Vispa offers a targeted punch to the heart of Windows Vista’s control panel, but it’s not for beginners. Vispa gives users the ability to control how their Vista OS functions without having to delve into the deep, dark recesses of the registry. The tools here are powerful and can mess up your machine if you’re not careful,I don’t suggest this application for beginners. Based on XPY, Vispa lets you alter and disable the settings in several categories: General, Services, Internet Explorer, Windows Media Player, Usability, and Delete Files. Within each are heavy-duty controls, like deleting the LMHash or Net Crawling, as well as aesthetic changes that let you instantly change the theme to look like Windows XP.
Pros: Simple interface, back up features, customizes vista for more security and speed with the right settings.
Cons: Backup feature doesn’t restore everything exactly the way it was.
